Aerial Photography
JNC Helicopters is involved in a number of on-going still and video camera filmwork projects. From the coastline, city and harbour areas for tourism, construction and development, to many sporting events, including mountain biking, running, canoeing, motorcycle touring, swimming and fishing, JNC Helicopters has many years of active experience.
Crop spraying
Aerial helicopter spraying is often the safest, fastest and most effective way of spraying, particularly if the terrain is not level. The helicopter most suited to aerial spraying is the Robinson R22. It is fast, manoeuvrable and can access areas which are normally dificult for other aerial applicators to access. The down-wash of the rotor blades also help with better and more acurate penetration of the chemicals.
Vehicle Tracking
The primary function of this operation is to identify the location of the stolen vehicle and provide aerial support to the ground team, directing them to the stolen vehicle.
Vehicle tracking is a 24-hour operation.
Lifting
JNC Helicopters can provide a lifting / underslinging service ranging from moving fuel drums to offshore hauls, construction site tasks in different terrains and radio mast erection, power line inspections, power line slinging.
Aid Work
JNC pilots have been involved in aid work across the border in Mozambique, working closely with the UN and other agencies such as the Red Cross. JNC Helicopters also supports Reach for a Dream and numerous other charity organizations.
Surf Rescue
This is an absolutely vital service to the beach-going and seafaring population of South Africa, having saved many lives and found many people lost at sea in all types of weather conditions.
