JNC Helicopters offers world recognized helicopter training through the South African Civil Aviation Authority approved training program as the SACAA is a member of ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation). This means all flight training completed with us will count towards your JAA and FAA licences when you return home. For fellow aviation enthusiasts looking to add to their current licence we also offer additional ratings. You can complete your night rating, instructors rating, instrument rating and type/turbine rating on various aircraft through us.
The PPL licence is ideal for the passionate aviator who is looking to enjoy the wonders of flight. You will be able to fly passengers around but not as a form of income. For those wishing to become a pilot as a career this is the first step towards your commercial licence.
This Commercial Pilots Licence is for those who wish to be a Pilot as a career choice. With this licence completed you are well on your way to achieving your dream. You will be able to earn an income through transporting passengers, vehicle tracking or aerial photography. By completing additional ratings you will also be able to perform various other types of work. See our ratings section for what else we offer.
This manual is aimed as a guide for prospective helicopter private pilot license students and to provide an overview of the training required. It is also an aid for the instructor and forms the basis for each lesson in terms of the theory and practical aspect required for each lesson.
The idea is to allow the student before each lesson a complete understanding of what will be required theoretical and practical for each lesson.
We welcome all aviation lovers and clients to our facilities to speak to the crew and enjoy the aviation environment.
